Jaye Hammer - "I'm Leaving You"

Jaye said he was leaving, walking out the door.  He also said that you don't have to worry because he's not coming back any more!  He's tired of being used, neglected and abused!  That's right Jaye, it's not worth staying with someone who doesn't treat you right.  I love this song - it's good southern soul music!

L. J. tells the story about a man that he thought was his friend.  He just knew that he had his woman wrapped around his finger but he found out that he was so wrong because his best friend tried to mess up his home.  "Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater had my wife and I could not keep her; I thought I had her in a shell - there he kept her very well."  You know, sometimes you've got to watch out for your friends! L. J. has some really good music - see my blog entries dated 8/22/2012, 2/16/2013, and 5/27/2013.  Mark my words, this artist is going places!!

Ms. Jody - "Good Love"

Have I told you that I think Ms. Jody is awesome??  Her "Still Strokin' CD is simply amazing and Good Love is one of the many hits on this album.  It's a beautiful slow jam and Ms. Jody can sing!!!  This is a must-listen-to song.  She says that you can't rush good love and that it takes time to do it right.  That's what I'm talking about.  She says that good love will put a smile on your face and give you that good feeling all through the day.  If you can't do it right, it's just a waste of time.
