Big G “Can I Hold You”

Big G is a one of those artists who's been around for a minute and records powerful music.  "Can I Hold You" is one of those pretty ballads that you want to play during your house party of even if you're just cooling it with someone special.

Can I hold you tonight, can I hold you in my arms, can I hold you all night long?

Miss Lady Blues - "Good Thang "

I've posted this before and it's my favorite Miss Lady Blues song.  There are definitely good men out there and she singing about one of them.

He said baby whenever you need me, I'mma be there for you.  I need a good man, talking about my good thang.  He turned this house into a home; walked me down the aisle and even gave me his last name.  My good thang. ♥️♥️♥️

Asah Entertainment featuring Tweet and Tim Rogers - "Made For Me"

This song is so pretty, a beautiful love song - you were made for me!  I think it's a little more r&b than southern soul but the southern soul stations are playing it - I'll take it!!  I don't know anything about Asah Entertainment or Tim Rogers, but I remember Tweet from a million years ago.  Well, it was 19 years ago but it feels like a million. lol  I absolutely loved her song "Oops, Oh My" which was ahead of its time.  "Oops, Oh My" was from Tweet's 2002 debut studio album called Southern Hummingbird.

"Made For Me" is taken from the soundtrack of BET's movie, Never and Again.  I'll have to check it out.  I swear, for a split second, the beginning of this song reminds me of just a few bars from the beginning of J. Blackfoot's "May The Best Man Win." I keep thinking that song is getting ready to play when I hear this.

King South ft. Jeter Jones - "Southern Soul Cowboy"

There is something about this song that I love.  The sound is so smooth.  It has a catchy melody and I often find myself humming the chorus.

The Legendary Willymac - "Can't Take It No More"

I like this song - it has an old school kind of feel to it.  He had a feel something was going on in his house (always trust your instincts) and he was right.

Mama told me it's cheaper to keep her but I know I really don't need her because I can't take it no more.

Backdoor Jody came into my home and left me with his kids and my wife was gone.

I've never done nothing to mistreat her, if she's cheating on me, he can keep her because I can't take it no more!!
