Bigg Robb - "Fill It Up"

I LOVE this song and was thrilled to see that it was posted on youtube.  Bigg Robb is one of those artists who consistently puts out great music.  In "Fill It Up," you can easily dance to this great party song; it has a catchy beat. Even though this song is about partying and filling up your glass when it's starts to look a little empty, he always stresses that you shouldn't drink and drive.  Amen to that! See my "If I Get Drunk" post dated 10/3/2011.

Sittin’ round with my family

Hanging out with my old school friends

It’s been a hell of a week ya’ll

Now I’m ready to get it in

My brother, Tony, just pulled up

With something strong in a mayonnaise jar

He passed it round, we all got down

Now I’m feeling like a superstar

Chorus

If my drink is looking kind of empty

Fill it up, fill it up

If my cup is running kind of low ya’ll

Fill it up, fill it up

If my drink is looking kind of empty

Fill it up, fill it up

If my cup is running kind of low ya'll (looking like I need a refill)

Fill it up, fill it up

I used to wonder how my daddy could drink a 12 pack of beer

But now that I’m a grown ass man

I understands, get rough out here

Baby mama, baby daddys

Always starting some mess

Bill collectors call me up

Sometimes I need some help with the stress

Chorus

Juke joint soul!!!  Fill it up, fill it up!

Calling All Internet Radio Stations Playing Southern Soul

Have you been looking for an internet radio station that's playing southern soul and you just don't know where to look?  I have.  I'd like to create a schedule of when and where southern soul is played - for every day of the week.  For instance, if it's Wednesday morning and you want to know where to find good music, you can turn to Southern Soul Paradise and see where you can find it.

I have a few programs but if you have a southern soul show and you want to let others know when you're on the air, please send an email to southernsoulparadise@hotmail.com so I can add you to the list.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!!!
