I have this CD (titled Marvin Sease) - I need to find it.  Marvin Sease produced some really great music.  Here's "You Walked Away," a story about a woman who walked away from a good thing. He gave her money, jewelry, and the best of his years.  I know there's always two sides to every story but ladies, don't let that good man go; you'll regret it.

Jesse Graham - "Love Talk"

You know Jesse Graham from "Mr. Mailman" (I loved that song - see http://southernsoulparadise.blogspot.com/2011/11/jesse-graham-mr-mailman.html).  "Love Talk," along with "Mr. Mailman," are on his 2011 Soul Music CD.

I really like this up tempo ballad.

David Brinston - "I Just Love Women"

Ladies, you're going to get mad if you listen to the lyrics of this song. I have posted a lot of his music (google Southern Soul Paradise and David Brinston) and I love the melody of this song but these lyrics will make you stop and shake your head. The reality is that there are actually guys out there like this.

Here's the first verse and the chorus:

Marvin Sease - "I'm Still Waiting On You"

Marvin Sease is one of the reasons I LOVE southern soul.  Yeah, I know Candy Licker and all of those x-rated songs (lol) but Marvin made some awesome music. This is one of his great songs that you may not hear a lot.  In "I'm Still Waiting On You," he talks about the possibility of losing the love of his life and how it's destroying him. He lets her know that he messed up but he begs her to come back home.  My heart melts every time he says I miss you like crazy.

I had to take the time to listen (and listen) to this song and wrote down the words:
