Adrena - "So Addicted," "Don't Mess With My Man," "Blues Chose Me," and her Bio

There is nothing better the southern soul music that sounds like the blues.  Adrena sings real southern soul and the range of her voice is something else.  The girl can sing!  Enjoy her music!

So Addicted
This is one of my favorite Adrena songs; it's beautiful!
Don't Mess With My Man
Girl, don't you mess with my man.  If you're smart, you'd have another plan.

Blues Chose Me
I didn't choose the blues, the blues chose me!
To learn a little more about Adrena, here's her bio as taken from Reverbnation, https://www.reverbnation.com/adrena1?popup_bio=true.

Adrienne Ervin, “ADRENA”, Southern Soul vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist was born May 24 in Jackson Mississippi. Her singing career began at age five in County Line Baptist Church and has continued to flourish. Being a young Black female artist, the church provided the ample training needed to enhance her natural talent, especially in the Blues/Southern Soul arena.

ADRENA’s love for music has always been astounding. Her creativity allows her to put words from her heart to a beat on the keys. Life experiences and changes is what inspired her to begin writing lyrics to the sound inside. Her voice training, piano and drum lessons gave her the extra boost needed to advance in the music world. Her God given talent has led her to become a choir member, a soloist, a Choir Director and now a Southern Soul artist.

In 2008, ADRENA’s first single, “WHAT’S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE” received overwhelming responses. In 2010 she released her debut album “Thoughts of a Woman” which featured the popular single “Cheatn on Da Back Street”. Her music has aired on stations in United States, France and United Kingdom.

ADRENA has performed with artists such as Denise LaSalle, Omar Cunningham, T.K. Soul and others across the South. She has also shared a stage with various acclaimed artists including Peggy Scott Adams, Jimmy Lewis, William Bell and Barbara Carr. The artists that she has performed with salutes the calm confidence ADRENA shows in the studio and the fiery showmanship shown on stage. Her mission is to infuse her love for Southern Soul into a new generation of music lovers.

She is currently working on her new album and she wants listeners to get the pure essence of ADRENA through her lyrics of joys & pains, happy times that make you want to dance, live & love and also some not so happy times that we all experience at some point in life. This new album is coming from a place of healing, accepting all that has happened and creating a musical canvas to draw her most intimate thoughts and feelings. She wants and sees this new album reaching a lot of people in similar situations all over the world, from loving and losing a love one, to learning to love again after the pain being in love. From the cheating bluesy tune to the sultry, raspy sound of The Soul Diva of Mississippi. Welcome to ADRENA’s world!
