Jeter Jones (featuring LJ Echols) - "Lovin Me On Borrowed Time"

I love this collaboration between Jeter Jones and LJ Echols! This is a song about a guy getting home and his girl is gone.  She's out in the streets and won't even answer the phone.  Ladies, you can't do your guy like that.  If you don't want him, let him go!

It's not funny but I had to laugh when he starts looking in the microwave and the oven for some food. lol Oh, the poor man.

You can't keep loving me on borrowed time!  I know that's right!

I recently did a post with Jeter Jones and Itz Karma - they were also fantastic together!  See:

X-man Parker - "Something 'Bout This Lady"

"Something 'Bout This Lady" was released last year and it's a song about a guy who's crazy about his girl.  She's been good to him and she's the only one he needs.

X-man Parker is also known as Mr. Crown Royal. 🤔

Here's a little info about X-man Parker as taken from cdbaby.com:
X-Man Parker is a veteran of the Blues Southern Soul market. Having worked with legends like Mel Waiters (Hole in The Wall) he's stepping out with his new single, Something Bout This Lady, from his forthcoming album Mr. Right. Working with the production team Sons Of Soul Productions, he delivers in the traditional vein of the legends like Mel, Johnnie Talyor, Willie Clayton to name a few with a modern twist to keep the BBQ functions, hole in the wall clubs, card games and slapping bones an events to remember. Dedicated to that special lady in your life, this is celebration music. Enjoy!

Something Bout This Lady is a song that brings the good time vibe to the dance floor while celebrating that special lady in a blues/southern soul style.

Dee Dee Simon - "If I Leave You"

You know, we all go through things in relationships but sometimes your other half thinks the grass is greener on the other side.  Like Dee Dee Simon says, he can pretend like he's happy and won't care if you leave.  But if you leave, he'll miss you and he won't even be able to sleep at night.  He'll remember how he did you wrong and wonder if it's too late for you to come back home.

Sometimes, all you have to do is look her in the eye and tell her you don't want her to go.

That's the real truth.

Dee Dee Simon has a pretty voice and the girl can sing!  This song will give you something to think about.  Plus, the instrumental part at the end is nice.

Southern Soul Music on the Internet

Don't you love the blues and southern soul??  I do! I listen to music all the time and even though I enjoy all genres, southern soul is at the top of my list.  I'm that person who plays music 24/7 - I wake up to it, work with it, read, eat, drive, fly, and sleep to it, etc.  I'm always on the lookout for sites that stream southern soul and I've found that there are some stations that are internet only, some of your local radio stations play southern soul all day, and others play it during specific days or times.

Music varies from region to region and you may hear something in Houston and something different in Mobile.  I've put together a list of stations/sites that I listen to but I know this is just the tip of the iceberg.  There are so many more.

I need your help.  Please let me know the stations you listen to that stream southern soul music - I'd love to add them to the list and ultimately share them with everyone.  Please email me at southernsoulparadise@hotmail.com - thank you!!!

Southern soul music is alive and listened to around the world!!!
