Have you ever checked out the Blues Critic website? They have a list of the 100 best contemporary southern soul albums from 1994 - 2020 - their list is based on the opinions of the Blues Critic Staff. If you get a chance, go through it and see all of the artists.
As I scrolled through, it made me realize how many wonderful southern soul artists that are out there. Some are classics and some are contemporary. If you get a chance, review the list and let me know what you think!
