Big Yayo - The Interview - "His Destiny" Part II

This is Part II of my interview with the awesome Big Yayo. I titled this "His Destiny" because sometimes you just don't know where life will take you. As you can see from below, his experiences led him to sing, produce others, and own his own record label.

Surprisingly, when talking to Big Yayo, he says that he’s only been singing about five years. You can’t tell it from his voice and the amazing music he makes. He’s a record producer and has produced music for Lamorris Williams, Jwonn, and other artists. He was writing so many successful songs for other artists that he decided to jump in and give it a try. As a fan, I am so glad he did.

The very talented Big Yayo also owns his own record label: Mabry Music. He started it in 2005 and the first hit produced on his label was “13 Days” by Dave Mack.

I had read somewhere that Big Yayo’s songs are smooth, sensual, and themed around lovemaking. I asked him about it and he smiled and said that it’s true, they are!!

Big Yayo has made so much good music and his most popular hits are Bedroom Rodeo, Cowgirl, and the Boots On Song! I love them ALL!!
