Oh Frank, I wish I had the chance to know you.  This is a sad song but the melody and lyrics are so beautiful.  He was working two jobs but old man trouble came knocking on his door and then misery and pain moved in.  He has to leave before he loses his mind.  Even though his back is against the wall, he's not going out like that...even though time is winding down.
