I was listening to Lewis Dee tonight and heard him play this song. I had written a post about it a little while ago (see http://southernsoulparadise.blogspot.com/2011/05/linda-jones-hypnotized-and-for-your.html) and thought it was worth repeating. This may not necessarily be southern soul but it is definitely soul music. It is one of the most emotionally powerful songs I've ever heard.
Linda died of diabetes back in 1972 at the very young age of 27.
